Sltrib Weber out of their league recruiting Loveridge

I'm not only boastful about Utah recruits, but Idaho and Wyoming recruits as well. So let's just talk facts. Our Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming recruits, like Tai Wesley, Nate Bendall, Brian Green, Nate Harris, Jared Quayle, Tyler Newbold, Gary Wilkinson, Jaycee Carroll, and Spencer Nelson have owned you. We've won 10 of the last 11. Since we joined the WAC we've dominated you, which shows the difference in recruiting between our years in the Big West and WAC. Quayle was headed your way, but we offered him in March, and he went with us.

Loveridge was on your campus for an unofficial yesterday, but you have no chance. I know, you don't really want him.

Let me add this. We'll beat you in football this year by 21, and it won't be that close.

   DUMB A$$, everybody knows USU sucks at football. There is NO CHANCE IN HELL that the Aggies win by 21.

I'm starting to think George spends more time on our board than the Aggie board. And probably more time on our board than working. George, the difference between most Weber fans and most Aggie fans is that most Weber fans know their place and for the most part accept it and are content with it, while most Aggie fans aren't. I know Weber is 4th fiddle in this state, and I'm fine with that. And I'm fine with being in the Big Sky and at the FCS level in football. Actually, I love being in the Sky and FCS. Stability, long standing regional rivalries, no big time corrupt football programs, and a football playoff. Aggie fans have forever felt slighted by the state's big 2 and it drives them absolutely nuts. Add to that this whole WAC thing, and I don't know how you all sleep at night. Always hating and feeling belittled and ignored. Always wishing for something better. To me that's a miserable way of living. So keep on running your smack and making your point that USU is better than Weber. But just know that this Wildcat fan is at peace and would never trade places with you in your miserable little world of Aggie athletics, even if we "lose to you 10 of 11 times and get inferior recruits."

Yeah, weber definitely doesn't have a chance!! Hell, if that were the case, why would he come to campus? He is a smart kid. Evidently, he understands that DI basketball is more important and organized than an AAU team. He is taking the time to really get a good feeling for each team. He is playing with each program trying to get a feel for the team that will be most successful in the immediate future, and getting a feel for which coaching staff will help him develop the most. He isn't succumbing to peer pressure.

We all know, as for academics, Weber is on par with USU. So, I'm thinking that Weber has as good of a chance as USU does in getting him. I'm pretty sure loveridge isn't interested in shearing sheep though. Yeah Aggie basketball is great. You are definitely experiencing a golden age and its good for the state. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I cheer for the Aggies after the Cats, but most Aggie fans make it really hard to want to continue that support. As for Jared Quayle...yeah USU and Weber both offered him scholarships in the Spring. He actually had a really hard time making a decision. Fact of the matter, he might not have started at Weber and he automatically had the starting position at USU. He hated the fact, that he had to take the place of Jaycee, but knew he'd get more time playing for the Aggies. But he really liked Weber State and probably would have gone there if he would have been assured a starting spot. Something we can give Loveridge right away.

George...what stage are you in? I think you are somewhere between Denial and Grief. Some of your arguments hold no wait at all. Once again: Boise, Nevade, Fresno, Hawaii are gone. Texas State, Denver, Seattle, and UTSA are not the type of replacements the WAC needs to maintain a semblance of respectablilty. Whereas, the Sky got Davis, Poly, UND, and SUU. Hmmmm...I'm thinking the Sky did a bit better. Finally, which conference is more solid with its remaining members? Idahlol, NMSU, SJSU, La Tech, and USU or Weber, Montana, MSU, PSU, NAU, UNCO, SAC St, and EWU? Pretty easy to figure that one out. The relevance of the WAC is over. Boise is gone this year.

Hey if Loveridge wants to sign with BYU Utah or USU, let him. We have gone else where to get our players and look at our team now. I will laugh my a$$ off when things dont turn out the way he expected them to.

George has no life. Everyone in logan has their head so far in the clouds that I just feel bad for them. Beat us by 21 in football? Hell I bet the game is decided by 7 points (WSU winning of course) and basketball will be a rude awakening. They are playing us in Ogden at the Dee NOT in logan in there oversized high school gym. We won that game. Even the way that first hald was officiated we still held the lead. Our kids wont lose another game to usu. you can bet that.
So aggies talk your smack, keep blowin smoke out your a$$,. No one cares.. We will let the scores to the game shut you up :)

TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!

He had a freakin sick dunk on Monday. It was a lot of fun to watch him. You could tell that there were moments that he was in absolute awe of Lillard and Bamforth. He was on their team and they held the court for a good hour, by the end he was looking a bit tired, but excited.

I'm a realist, I know it is going to be really tough signing Loveridge. No matter, I really wish him well wherever he goes. He is a really great kid. You can tell he has a great work ethic, high basketball IQ, and is a really smart guy. He was able to play with the team. I agree with George though, he is a tweener. He has a ways to go to hone his 3 skills, but he is well on his way. He had some nice moves in the paint and did a good job on defense; playing against a taller and bigger guy. I'd love nothing more than to see him playing at the Dee in Wildcat Purple. Inevitably, he will play at the Dee...YIKES...lets all hope its for Weber!! To me, at least, it seemed like he was playing on the best and right floor!

On a side note...did Davion Berry not make the trip to Ogden? I was looking forward to seeing his game.

I don't know why I keep posting on a board where the fans are so uninformed about their own program. I have to tell you that Loveridge is on your campus. I have to tell you that you offered Ott. You don't know dick about your own recruiting, and basketball in general. No wonder your program sucks.

WOW your so cool. Everyone here is jealous of how cool and knowledgable you are are. Please never stop posting becasue we would not survive without your expert knowledge. Also we wish we could all live in Logan. If that were the case we also would have nothing to do and could research about other teams recruiting and then belittle them on their forums becasue we would be so much smarter and cooler than them. Utah State rules.

AND I informed you losers on Usufans.com that Riley Bradshaw (Redheaded white kid w/ double earrings) lol, committed to the Aggies.

None of you clowns had a clue. Goes both ways biitch.

I posted it under the name Iceberg I got kicked off a few days later for insulting all things Aggies.

Here is your post below, you posted later that night it looks like, under my thread. You didn't even know that usu had offered Bradshaw, (You're the supposed Self Proclaimed recruiting expert in Utah), and a WeberFan informs you clowns about a committ. No wonder your program sucks soo bad, how embarrassing.

Great get. We've been on him since he played for Utah Select AAU last spring/summer with Tyler Ott, another kid we've offered. Didn't know we'd offered Bradshaw. He's the best player in Montana in the 2012 class, so I wasn't expecting him to verbal this early, and thought he'd go higher. This was a nice surprise. Don't know if he's a mission kid, but since he came all the way to southern Utah to play AAU ball last year, he may be.

George you play in the WAC! played one team last year to prove your as good as you say your are and that was georgetown and got slaughtered. enough said..

Uh, okay...So you told us about Ott. Thank you. He is a great looking player with a lot of upside and potential, and I hope Weber gets him. If not I wish him the best where ever he goes, even Logan . As for your unique knowledge about Utah. George you are a coach and have connection with Hammer and other Utah recruiting connections. Unfortunately, you don't know shit about our out of state recruits. Unlike the stains at USU, us Weber folk don't have to constantly toot our horns to make ourselves feel appreciated. Here at Weber we earn our respect not bitch about not having it.

Anyway, back to the topic of this thread; Jordan Loveridge. Evidently the Tribune doesn't know as much as they think they know. He spent a lot of time on campus last week and I'm hearing that he will be making his way north more often. He likes playing with Lillard and knows he has the chance, if he signs with Weber, to play right away. Bullinger and Mahoney are both graduating. Weber is the only place where he would have that chance.

Everyone doesn't assume it's between BYU and USU. Only those who follow recruiting closely do. Anyway, yes, I know, as does everyone who reads and follows college athletics, that the WAC is hurting. However, as much as you'd like to think otherwise, as of now, [it's still much better than the Big Sky. So let's not keep harping on that, shall we, because you have no argument there as long as your conference is worse. Look, recruiting is to the point where players are seen not only during the school year, but during the spring/summer AAU season. Coaches, recruiting analysts, sports writers..........numerous people who have coached, watched, evaluated players for decades see them and know the level they can perform at. Do they miss some? Yes. Do some kids develop late or fall through the cracks? Yes. But the majority of the time you get Big Sky level players, and we get a higher level of recruit. Do we get MWC level? No, not in the majority of cases. Like Morrill said, MWC teams can recruit a player that won't even respond to us. But we do not lose recruiting battles to you. That's just how it is. Going back to the situation of the WAC. It hasn't hurt our recruiting at all for 2012. Intermountain Hoops, Dave Hammer, who's been coaching for years, just stated after watching Marcel Davis at the USU tourny that Davis and Loveridge are right there as the best 2 players in Utah HS ball class of 2012. Quincy Bair is #3. Casey Oliverson #4. We have 3 of the 4 with a legit chance at all 4. We have the best player in Montana class of 2012. One of the best players in Colorado class of 2012. Oh, you'll say it doesn't mean a thing, but we both know you'd love to have any one of them and would be on here posting about it. Another thing. We have the 4A MVP from last year walking on. You used a scholarship on the 3A MVP. That's the difference.

george aka SeldomSeenSmith: Really? I think you have confused the WAC of yesterday with the WAC of the future.
As Montana and MSU have told the WAC to get lost, and Boise St.,Fresno St., Hawaii, and Nevada are replaced by Tex State, UT San Antonio, Denver and Seattle the WAC is no better than the Big Sky. Reality is a biitch SSS, time to face it, as it affects your recruiting going forward.

I'm sure it's all you can handle to keep your tiny little Aggie boner down as the WAC has chosen Seattle over UVU. The fact the Wolverines were even in serious contention had you sweatin like Norvell Arnold getting busted in a crack house, or Kyisean Reed taking a written exam. The WAC is a joke and a complete laughing stock.........

is george really seldomseen? i liked george better

Ahhh! So you're the troll on the USU board with all the names who keeps posting about defecating in a towel? That's what you got booted for, because of potty mouth, little boy. Let's get real here. Your program doesn't compare to ours. We've dominated you, and other than Lilliard, your players/recruits, just don't measure up. You couldn't argue with any evidence, that your Big Sky conference measures up to the WAC in basketball. All you have is opinion, no facts, because there aren't any. You go to San Jose State and lose big to a team we beat 3 times. You got nothing. That's why you resort to all the posts about crapping in a towel.

So you broke the news about Bradshaw. Good for you. Here's a lollipop for you. Suck on it. I know you want to. But, here's the deal. Everyone, and I mean everyone knew that USU was recruiting Bradshaw. You happened to be the first one who found the newspaper article announcing the commit. Impressive. But tell me, how do you feel about Bradshaw committing to USU over a Big Sky team that spanked you in your tourny, and a player that didn't consider you at all?

Here's something for you losers. Ott is taking an unofficial to Weeber State this week, along with trips to Utah and BYU. He isn't tripping to USU. We just signed someone better.

I am loving the pissing match on here :ohno: George, SSS, Skeeter, and etc.-- NOBODY knows what kind of a recruit you have until they actually attend class there and start playing. EVERY school in the country has hyped up their recruits just to have them fall flat on their A$$ when they actually start playing the game. All of you, shut the F up until you have some real information, and something intelligent to say!!!

Hey douchebag. It's called being a sports fan and talking smack. I think most of us realize that this is just a message board for fun and part of that fun is insulting fans of other programs. It isn't real life, which is much more serious. So let us have our fun that takes our minds off the serious business of every day life and go find something that does it for you, like preaching.
