Ah, the miseries of youth! A largely freshman softball team means error after error, weak pitching, and loss after loss. Painful to watch. But they'll learn. I hope. We haven't had much luck recruiting good pitchers. The Sophomore/freshman basketball team reaching the semis this year showed how it can be done. Impressive! I can hardly wait until next year.
 
We beat UNLV 8-6 in the last game of the tournament. That's how we win this year, I guess - by scoring 8 runs or more. Now, gulp,we play UO in a doubleheader.
