Looks like we're going to need a new category - softball. I don't for the life of me see why we can't have them listed on the front page in order. Football, basketball, volleyball, softball, wrestling, track. These are all PSU official sports, and all are deserving. I'd appreciate some thoughts on this from the administator, if he ever reads this category.

And by the way, PSU opened its season today in Arizona. It beat McNeese State 10-0 in the afternoon and lost to Arizona 8-0 tonight. Arizona, by the way, is ranked #1 in the nation.
 
Speaking of softball, I saw that UP is seriously considering adding softball as an extra female sport for Title IX purposes, so that might impact recruiting for PSU.

That's interesting. It might impact recruiting but then again it may help on travel costs if UP joins PSU's league.

I agree that we need to start separate links for each individual sport. Maybe we can start off gradually by adding volleyball, then softball, etc. Jeremy is the administrator.
 
Suggestion for pdxfan... don't simply complain about not having a board. Just start talking. Bring a couple friends who also want to talk. Just do it. Make this system NEED to have a softball board.

Otherwise, it won't get too far.

BTW... when you see how ridiculous the talent gap is between the west and the rest, you'd have to appreciate what happens out here. Portland State has a better shot at making softball work than many schools... so does UP.
