Would like to see the defense step up against UNI. In a sense this is all preseason action leading to conference play.
 
Is this game on anywhere? I see a lot of these tournament games in the TV listings today but none of them list the teams.

Doesn't look like it. The ISU game will be on in the Midwest if you have Mediacom cable. The next "real" TV game is the DU game on Altitude.
 
What a terrible start to the season. 0-3. This team is not disciplined - way too many turnovers and poor shooting. The only one that comes to play every night is Garnica. This is bullshit.
 
Yeah, it might be nice to schdule a cupcake early so these winless streaks can be avoided to start the season. Fingers crossed Western Carolina might lay down for us.

It's not like we've had three cake-walks. Remember, we struggled in the non-conference schedule last year, too.

I'd say we're better than Wyo, but I'll excuse that one on account of a young team playing its first road game. I'd say we're about even with UNI, and we played them as such.

Iowa State tomorrow is a winnable game, and we'd better win both at South Padre later this week.
 
ISU will be an interesting game, not sure UNC has the bigs to match up with Royce White.

Paul Garnica has looked excellent so far, a lot more consistent with the outside jumper. Hopefully he can continue to develop into the go-to guy.

Makes me think they need to spend a few practices without a basketball just working on defense.
 
New Mexico State, Northern Iowa and Iowa State will win a lot of games this year and we will be very competitive because we played in these early games. Still excited for this team.

I AGREE, THIS IS A YOUNG TEAM THAT IS STILL TRYING TO FIND ITSELF AND THEY ARE VERY CLOSE AND SHOULD START WINNING !! NEED TO CUT DOWN ON TURNOVERS BIG TIME !
