For a moment there, I thought PSU decided to resolve the tackling issues Alan brought up by simply getting blocked out of plays. But there’s a bend-don’t-break philosophy going on there, and that may work in this game, but…

At least on later drives, it seems Alexander delivering an earlier ball or running the occasional sweep might actually work.

But to note, how bad is my timing to show my wife the backdrop to the stadium now? Neat little view on TV. Maybe someday.

If I’m having to look at the roster of Southern Utah at all, someone done pissed me off. Congratulations, Aaron Romero.

I really got upset when they didn’t originally call targeting.

The thing… I know some people will debate that call. I’ve also watched enough hockey to know that, when you leave your feet to do a little damage going upwards, it’s going to be more than 2 minutes in the box. It looked like Beau Kelly got clotheslined on the play, but that was textbook cheap hit. It’s only fitting that PSU scored the winning TD on the next play.

Deciding to run on that team was the best choice. Just hoping that’s a choice PSU has the rest of this season.
