We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Special Teams...

I made some comments after the first scrimmage about our special teams, and they weren't nice. However, it seems s.t. are improving and we may have finally found a consistent kicker. Marques Combs seems reliable, especially for a true freshman. He has a solid leg and can kick the ball into the end zone for touch backs. We shall see if he can handle the pressure in games though. He actually looks and plays like a football player, rather than a chess team member like our other kickers. He can play defensive back too (like Dirk Johnson). Kudos for coach Cummings and Boyer for getting this kid.

Special teams as far as field goals go was rough the first two games last year, after those first two games Czapenski didn't miss a field goal. Bailey coming in as a true freshmen played well after all the mind games Collins played with him. Kickers don't need to be able to play defensive back there is a reason they are called specialists. Czapenski is the new record holder for UNC since they have gone division one for most field goals made consecutively. Yet Collins can't figure out how to keep him on campus and I have not found him on any roster lately. Any news?
