Spokesman-Review spring coverage

eagwatcher,
I 2nd HannahO cudo. It is raining right now, however, I will be going out to see the Coaches and Team workout. Only thing I worry about, is sugar melting in the rain ;) ;) , Yes, brown sugar will melt in the rain.  Be 8-) 8-) 8-) . Vic Wallace

Does anybody know the dates and times for the spring practises?
And are they free to come watch?
Thanks

I believe the practices are Tue, Thur, Sat and yes they are free to watch. The weekday practices usually start around 3-3:30 and run about 2 hrs. Sat practices usually start around 10-11

Jim Allen ‏@srjimallen 3h
#ewu #ewufb #bigskyfb A big theme this year is building depth at linebacker. Former DB Miquiyah Zamora is now at LB.
Jim Allen ‏@srjimallen 3h
#ewu #ewufb #bigskyfb Former RB Jordan Talley is also at LB, which
makes nine total. By contrast, there is a small army of 16 DBs out here.
Jim Allen ‏@srjimallen 2h
#ewu #ewufb #bigskyfb A few minor injuries, as usual. RB Demitrius Bronson still recovering from minor hip surgery.

What's with your editor?? No article on Tuesdays practice what gives. What! they needed more room for dead people pictures? How can Idaho get more column inches? really Idaho??????? I can see why WSU gets the coverage. They are improving so much and all the talk about them moving up in the standing to compete for nine or tenth in the Pac 12. Well, it is amazing. Did you know their coach is a Lawyer?
I have reliable information that AD Moose is planning a major expansion of the Cougar Cat box. coach wants tougher kitty cats.
Keep up the good work Jim.

Talley at LB? That's a little strange. But perhaps with Mario Brown making his way back on the field this year, there are just too many RB's.

OK did I miss something or did Bronson somehow get another year.
Last time I checked he was a senior last year.

Bronson was a Junior last year, he transferred to EWU after his freshman year.

I thought this was strange too, but with Forte, Bronson, and Brown all at RB, we are pretty full at the position. I always liked Talley at RB, but who knows, Forte and Bronson did have great years last year and I expect they will improve this year as well. With our pass friendly offense and no real full back, there really isn't room for a 4th RB. Plus Adams will sit out this year but hopefully will be on the field in 2014.

Thanks looked it up also on the EWU website because I had it stuck in my head he was done (he played in my district).
"He originally was a part of the fall 2008 recruiting class, but delayed enrollment until January 2009 and entered the 2009 season as a true freshman." - from EWU website.
