Who are some of the standouts who will be up and comers this season? What positional groups are of the most interest this Spring?
Unfortunately it's probably not much of a joke. Even though everyone with a brain can see who needs to start Best will probably declare that the position is open for competition.Quarterbacks, LOL.
When's the last time the Qb position wasn't open for competition during Spring Ball? Probably EB3.Unfortunately it's probably not much of a joke. Even though everyone with a brain can see who needs to start Best will probably declare that the position is open for competition.
Definitely EB3 or maybe the year after when Best was dead set on starting Gunner Talkington every single game when there were other guys who could play. When's the last time the Qb position wasn't open for competition during Spring Ball? Probably EB3.
Probably try to be balanced for the sake of being balanced even though we haven't had a good RB since Sam McPherson.I'm looking forward to seeing what the philosophy is going to be for the offense. I'm hoping we can get back to Eastern football with Schakel slinging it at QB, find out who our next stud WR will be, using Bell as a Swiss army knife, and rounding it our with Malik Dotson and co. at RB. I'm interested in seeing what our O-line is good at. Our length and body size implies that we may be a pass blocking group rather than a big powerful run blocking group. We'll see. Defensively, will we get back to creating TO's? I don't know that the Eags will ever be dominant on Defense so TO's are a must.
