Hey guys, I hope you all will forgive me if i sound stupid, as this is my first post. My son commited to UNC in February and is so excited to become Bear. I t sounds like from these posts that there are clearly two very different opinions as to which way the program is going. I guess for us we are going on blind faith that the team is beginning to rebound from its past short commings. My son had other options, but in the end I think he truely felt like being part of the building process was an exciting and do able process. I remember the other coaches telling him he would regret this decission. My son is looking foreward to helping shut these people up. This can only happen if we are all rowing in the same direction.I think this incomming class is going to be a truely great class. My family and I are looking foreward to cheering the Bears on this comming football season!!!
Great post, welcome aboard...the tide is going to turn and the naysayers will jump on board!

Bearcrawls you are wrong on the advising deal. First off, I am a Dalton Fan, have been since I played for him. But from a college coaching stand point, most coaches either bring in coach's to tutor them (or there current coach's), or they go out and learn from other coaches(IE go to another college program). Its a very common practice, so no need for alarm on that there bearcrawls.

Welcome PlayerParent and glad to have your son on aboard and wish him a great time and success at UNC !! You can take these naysayers with a grain of salt. Understand that the contant losing has bred a lot of pessimism and negativity. A lot of us are not used to a losing environment and want this program to turn around NOW. Hopefully with people like you and players like your son, we are on the right path !! GO BEARS !!
