6'5'' point guard out of Middlebrooks Academy in LA, Cal.
I like it. Him and Tew can man the 5 spot. We definitely upgraded the back up 5 spot. Revaz and Tamba were just terrible and didn't give us much. We will have 5 SR's next year. I can't ever remember a time we had that many. I love that we will have a mature team next year. This is the big man they have signed. 6'11'', 250lbs, from Montenagro via Portland.
Is this the same Miguel Tomley you were talking about on the Idaho St. fan board? If it is the same guy, you said this "Both of your departing point guards are good players, good, but not great"..."However, we already have a guy who is much like both of your departing guys. We are also chalk full of wing players."....I guess you will forget these statements now, or you'll go back to ISU's board and edit this out....
I was talking about the other two, who hit the potal first, Arington and Mitchell. At the time I made that post, Tomley was not yet in the portal. Arington's game is much like Threatt's and Mitchell is too small to defend bigger guards. Both of those guys are okay players, just not what I would look for to compete well in the BSC. When Tomley came along, I didn't think we would go after him either. He only has one year left to play. He is a good shooter, but limited in some other aspects. I guess our coaches thought he would be a good compliment to Threatt. I can see that. Threat is more of a slasher and Tomley is more of a spot up shooter. Both of them are what I would call combo guards. Is this the same Miguel Tomley you were talking about on the Idaho St. fan board?
