Enjoy the next two years of Bengal hoops and pray for the best. Unless O'Brien wins a BSC Title of finishes near the very top of the BSC his contract will not be renewed.
O'Brien is mortgaging the future of the ISU men by going heavy, heavy JC. How many SR's will the Bengal men have in two years? Count them up and get back to me.
Now, I can't say that I blame O'Brien--he needs to win now to parlay his success into an extension or a job offer elsewhere.
With that said--I am excited about the potential signees so far and the impact that they may have for next season.
