Kinda weird, watched a couple of high schools teams on NFHS ... a high school sports online site...it was Southridge vs Kamiakin both Kennewick teams. Matt Johnson is head coach of Southridge. Brought back memories of him and brother ripping it up on defense,,,Both monsters... Delved into our defense and National Championship when bro's were jr.'s. At the time EWU had the #1 defense in the nation,,,that year and next both lights out. Just made me think from then to now...1st to last(couple years ago, last and today, If not dead last right at the bottom. We have a defensive effort somehow we can win this game.

That was a pretty dominating half. Especially 3rd quarter.

Almost 300 yards rushing.
Indeed. Scary that when the game is in the balance, you gotta go to the backup QB. But he did very well. Finally. It felt like the last one was 20 years ago.

Gotta admit, I was pretty worried after that missed field goal. But the D played well enough on a couple of Sac possessions for the O to get it come. Good team win.

Visperas went 16-18 and had a great game. But the end of that game was a perfect situation to put Taylor in. Dude runs hard AF.

Sadly, had we played like this all year, we’re at least 4-2 and the entire narrative on the season is 180 different.
The Big Sky is looking dubious this year. Outside of Montana State- who looks like the genuine article- everyone else is good enough to win and bad enough to lose.
