Stadium Upgrade survey

If you guys are on facebook, there's a pretty good thread associated with the post from Eastern. Normal idiots complaining that privately funded dollars aren't spent on the things they want, but what's really cool is the amount of people who seem to be in favor of the stadium.

After being at the game this past weekend and now seeing these diagrams I am loving what I see!
Would love for them to add a actual Hall of Fame section similar to the one at UW.

Oh Yah ...DONE!

Good job, Dopa.

Well, since I proposed the Gateway Project, drew up the blueprints, single-handedly raised the money (most of which came from my checking account), and plan on driving a bulldozer... yeah, I probably deserve the credit.

A slightly different rendering than the previous one?

We were tailgating right next to the radio tent last week when I happened to noticed they were talking to two guys about the gateway project. After the interview, I stopped the two guys. Turns out they were engineers or something from parametrix, who I guess is designing the damn thing. They mentioned the survey and how important it was, imploring me to get everyone I know to fill it out.

I say we all work our networks to get everyone and their grandma to fill this out. Apparently it's really important.

Also, they seemed VERY optimistic that this was gonna happen... Work your address book!!!!!!!

Agreed, get to word out on this and get people to fill out the survey. I wish there was a little more focus on general stuff rather than the VIP stuff, but that is probably where most of the money will be generated from. What are some other ideas for what could go in the new facilities?

For cold night playoff games..how about a coffee place. Preferably a local place or a national chain, Tully's, Seattle's Best or Starbucks would be nice.

oh yeah....survey done.

What about an actual local coffee place and not that Seattle junk?
I"m sure there is an EWU alum out there somewhere who owns a local roaster. Hell there are dozens of them afterall.

Or what about a bar or restaurant like Manito Tap House which is owned by an EWU alum? Or O'Dohertys, also owned by an EWU alum.

It would be awesome for an EWU project to support EWU alums

I think it's where the majority of the funding would come from however.
