Stadium Upgrades

Anybody in the know hear any of the latest info about the Champions Complex / Permanent Ticket office Weber was planning on building on the North Side of Stewart Stadium? Also heard something along the lines of a parking structure?

Any news at all on this front or any other possible upgrades to Stewart Stadium?

Is that still an official plan? I haven't heard anything about it for years.

In 2011, when athletics announced that the field would get field turf, Bovee stated that he didn't want to "lose momentum," that he wanted "by 2013" to have the north end zone plaza in place. Of course, he took the funds he did have for it and committed them to the field house, which I think was a wise move on his part. Still would like to know if the North End Zone Plaza was still in the works or not though.

As for other facilities...I haven't heard. Sorry...

I DO know that at at least one of the Wildcat Club Auctions they sold "bricks" with your name on them for $50 each. Perhaps I should call Jerry and the WCC and tell them I either want that brick with my name on it in the North End Zone Plaza or else I want my $50 back plus interest.

HA!! That is too funny. I think I participated in that event as well. Nice to know my $50 has been used well. Another wasted opportunity by athletics. I'd say give the WCC a call, but nobody tends to answer emails or return messages. I wanted to renew my membership this spring, but nobody seemed interested in helping me do that so I decided to use the money I was going to donate on a trip. I sure loved Belize. Thanks for not calling me back WCC.

Sarcasm aside, it's pretty apparent WSU is not capitalizing on all the donation and support $$$ it could be. You don't seem to care much, maybe because everything is rosy in your world, but the athletic administration and support organizations are not doing very good or smart business, and that's a shame.

I was just pointing out the humor. I agree that a better job needs to be done with regard to the WCC and athletics administration in general. I think that they do a very good job with the heavy hitters and not so good of a job with other contributors. I don't know what their thinking on the subject is, but I think that they need to re-evaluate everything they are doing. You think that I am insensitive to your plight. I am not. I am on your side and I want them to treat you right. :thumb: :thumb:
