Starters not starting?

Also, I would not be too surprised to see Gauldin get a start at CB. He has made some big plays this year and might be slightly more athletic than our other CB's. SUU will undoubtedly attack our corners which have struggled some this year, so good contain from them will be key along with getting some pressure on that QB with our D-Line.

After watching the fake field goal attempt, I think I may understand the quote.

That was pretty ballsy on their ass.
 
So really, this wasn't a "Starters" not starting, it was just one starter in the secondary. I can understand switching things up since we were/are dead last in pass defense.

However, it sure didn't work...
 
It was rumored that there were 3 starters not starting - two of them on D. It does appear though, that only one of them did not start. There did seem to be a lot more substituting on offense this week than usual. Again, a strange game to start changing up our scheming in...

And no - it didn't work - all of the time. But rotating them according to what offense the opponent is running makes sense.
