I agree with you on the starters. Right now, with the way Hill has progressed this year on the hardwood, Weber might not have to get a JC wing this spring. Hill might be able to play next fall. When we first signed him, especially since he is coming here as a 3, I thought he would redshirt for sure, but now...I'm not so sure. Weber is looking at a couple of good looking wings though. Nathan Sobey has an offer from the Cats. He isn't the best FT shooter, but he does bring a lot of intangibles: Toughness, outside shooting, high basketball IQ, solid rebounder and good defender. Last I checked, he was averaging under 17 a game. There are a couple of other wings...Lawrence Otis, Travis Betran, and the washington kid. Weber signed two last fall and will have two open scholies (Lillard's gotta go to the NBA, the time is perfect for him...YES I WANT HIM TO STAY, but...we all want the absolute best for him).
What about Brown? He is sticking around right? It would be a bad move to leave. Plus, I can see him being a key player for the Cats in the future. He is extremely talented and a hard-nosed player. I really like his upside and potential. I really wish he would have been red-shirted this year. Too bad coaches don't have crystal balls that allow them to see into the future.
