"I like Portland State a lot," Carter said. "I like the coaching staff and on my visit I really jived with the head coach and all of the assistants. Now I'm thinking that I'll probably make a decision a little earlier than I thought I would."
Carter went as far as to name Portland State his leader at this point. He still plans on taking a couple more visits before making any final decisions - he has one set for Pacific the weekend of September 5th and is looking at setting one up with Montana after that. Both schools have offered scholarships, as has Eastern Washington.
