• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Student section? Where is it?

The montanas are going to want a little revenge next week when Weber hosts them at the Dee. Weber needs to have a virulent crowd on hand to help the team beat back Doug Fullerton's schools. Lets implement some ideas to get fans out to the games. Evidently, nobody else is going to do it.
Yee uh! Is there any suggestions about what we can do. I am willing to do anything to get students there but I will need some help...............

I know that America First is handing out free tickets to the Montana game. It is similar to what Jakes/Taco Maker did for the UNC game. Tell everybody to go to AFCU and get some tickets.

This whole handing out free tickets thing is great, but the fact that Jakes/Taco Maker already did it and we didn't even breat 4000 in attendance makes it pretty obvious that people aren't going to games just because they cost money. There appears to be a perception problem or something. I think BobandWaldo put out a good article about how important a community's perception is for the success of a college athletic program. This is the area i'd like to see our marketing department work on the most, since making free tickets available isn't working too great right now.
handing out free tickets is a good start though. those who do take a chance should be rewarded-unless promotions and halftimes continue to suck- and hopefully they will come back.
But the 'Cats are playing well right now and that is the most important thing to get people coming out to the games for sure
