Teri Mariani is sold on him already....the people we need to talk to are the boosters ($$$ people). Glanville needs more money to get the quality staff he needs thats the support staff he was refering to on the radio.
The president of the university and powerful boosters need to open up the pocket books for the assistant coaches

President Bernstine,

I am a former athlete at PSU. I just recently learned of Coach Walsh’s departure and the opportunity for a new head coach. I have heard all the rumors as far as who will be interviewed, and they all sound like very qualified candidates. What stood out to me was that Jerry Glanville is one of the candidates. This seems to me to be a tremendous opportunity for the athletic department as a whole. He is a coach that would bring exposure to the program right away, and not to mention he is thinking about bringing back one of the most popular figures in PSU history in Mouse Davis. I would not hesitate to say that Mr. Glanville would be the best person to really sell this program and department. I would just say look at the buzz he has already created, he has me listening right now to the radio just to hear what he has to say. Also, not to mention the fact that AM 1080 dedicated over an hour to him on the radio, and the phone calls that came pouring in after his interview. I hope the university does not pass up this opportunity to really help out athletics. Thank for your time.
