SUU Roadie

What happened to the team we saw in Ogden. We punched them a couple of times and they didn't answer the bell. I really thought they would put up a better fight.

On to ISU. I think I want to travel up to this one. I hope they don't do what they usually do and put all the weber fans way up in the top of the potato cellar. :tothehand:

Anybody watch the end of the UM/UNC game? Great game, UNC won by 3 in overtime, I couldnt tell who i wanted to win the game, I mean I was happy to see Montana lose, but was unhappy to see UNC win. Why couldnt they both lose?

Was rooting for UM. We still have a chance to sweep the Griz.

Interesting....WSU had 21 team fouls SUU only had 19.....I didn't see the game but that was a shocker when I read the box score

It was definitely a significant home court advantage for SUU. That much was expected. I'm not saying that we didn't commit fouls, we did. However, for much of the game, they were calling things against us that they were letting SUU do. In the end, it didn't matter much. Like it was said earlier, once you figure out that all you need to do is drive, wildly, to the hoop and throw yourself into the defender and you will get a foul called no matter what, you just go back to it time and time again. Some of the calls against our post players, that had them on the bench longer than normal, were weak at best. However, that was not even close to the worst of this season. I would say that it was a normally reffed BSC game. :wall:

:coffee: :coffee: Short and to the point. I hate when Weber plays Southern Utah because it is always a hack fest and the game takes twice as long... I will not be going to Cedar to watch a game ever again, unless they host the Big Sky Tournament next year. Confound SUU!!! :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: (Sage brush tea.. FANTASTIC!!!)

Take a close look at the picture on this article. The first, obvious, thing is the arm bar on Berry as he is driving. Second, look at what they are doing to Tresnak. Left hand holding him around the back, right hand holding his forearm, and left knee pressing sideways into his right knee. No foul was called on this play. So much for the early season emphasis on this sort of thing. After all it was SUU. Looked like the two rookie refs were local police officers, as usual. They just can't find refs who want to go to Cedar City.

Oh Well!! What you gonna do? :wall:
