As far as I know WSU doesn't have an official tailgate policy.catfan said:Does anyone know if Weber has an official tailgate policy for home football games? I have attended a few that were organized by the Wildcat Club and families of the players. It has always been a good time and a great way to meet other Wildcat fans. Hope for more this year.
Best Tailgates last season:
at Sac State - Huge Weber group due to many CA players' families and friends
at Cal Poly - The tailgate continued long after the game because none of us wanted to leave after the big win
at ISU - great fans, great food, good weather
home vs. EWU - Best home tailgate last season

Tailgating does happen...and there is a very committed group of tailgaters...It may be small but it is surely fierce. Last basketball season, a group of us met at the Victory Tree and tailgated in half a foot of snow, four hours before tip-off while the Weber State duders cleaned off the Dee parking lot. That has got to be one of my fav. experiences as a Weber State fan! We started out with 5 committed tailgaters, and by the end of the basketball season there was close to 50 chillin and hanging out, with another 30-40 who would stop by for a min. GOOD TIMES...by the way, when is PURPLEFOGDOG going to paint the victory tree?
The best part of tailgating is spending the day with good friend, eating great food, and talking Weber State athletics with CATCAT and CHEESUS (Wazzu gets in on the action most of the time too).

LOL we'll probably have the entire lot full in 2010 when UM comes back to Ogden!

I think i parked here the last time i went to a game in Ogden, is this a dirt parking lot? Did it used to be a dirt lot, i remember walking through a dirt and gravel lot when we went up there.
