Tavoy Moore dismissed from ISU

Kramer is a great coach and a great guy. He'll do well at Idaho State. Sometimes you just have to see which kids want on the bus, and which ones don't. I hardly believe this joker was getting suspended for simply mishandling a ball one time in practice...

I'm sure that wasn't all that happened either. However, I've heard plenty about Kramer that potentially substantiates at least some of what he said.

Trust me, lots of coaches have a public persona and a locker room persona. And they can be night and day.

I've seen both personas from Kramer. If he didn't get his raw deal from Montana State, he's probably coaching a program much better than Idaho State right now. You can't marginalize what he accomplished at Eastern, because he did it at a time when EWU had zero money to put into the program. He has the rare ability to both be the good-times guy and a hardcore asschewer and do both with authenticity. I'd say most guys who played for Kramer hold him in high regard.

Yeah, Kramer is a good football coach and did some great things here that shouldn't be dismissed. That said, he can also be kind of a dick as well. I remember something similiar to this happened at Eastern with a young QB we had in the late 90's......Garkse. He was going to be the heir apparent following the '97 year.

IMO you can't build a team by breaking it down. That is, publicly belittling players in the media, etc. is bullshit. That kind of stuff should be kept on the practice field and in the locker room, not put out there for everyone to see and hear. Kramer is big on trust, well guess what, Mike? Trust, and more importantly, respect, is a two-way street.

And I'm sure that there was more to it than what Moore said in his interviews, etc......but I am just basing my comments from what I have read and seen from Kramer regarding the issue. Still feel bad for the kid, shitty way to end your Senior year.

Well certainly things in pocatella haven't been working for a long time. I have no doubt that Kramer is well suited to turn things around and separating with the star player may very well be a message that no one is safe. I'll surely miss having the bengals as an annual knock around. :(

Obviously I don't know the circumstances but I have heard numerous times in the past that Kramer can be a real ass. Torching his players in public is evidence of that. Only the lowest of coaches do that. So for Kramer to feel good about feeding his ego for a few minutes at the expense of what it does to a young man for a long long time is pretty white trashy.
