What a great season and a GIANT leap forward for UNC athletics. Thank you seniors for sticking with the program during the lean years. Those players allow us to look at the young guys on the team with hope and excitement.

Yes I agree, I think the credabilty, good will, and positive attention this broughy the athletic department and university was a godsend. After many a lean years and all the frustration and disapointment with the football program over the years it was awesome to get some spirit and some fun back.

Might as well put Beitzel individually and the team itself in the hall of fame tomorrow, they all earned it! :thumb:

I was thinking about that earlier today. This entire team will surly be in the UNC HOF, my guess is they do it when the last player on the team graduates/stops playing. Devon should get in tomorrow.
 
I also want to mention the coaches. They did an amazing job of putting these players in a position to win every game. Their preparation must be second to none.
 
Thank you for beating montana in the finals! After that, everything else was just bonus. The montana coach was still whining about the unfair beatdown at the BSC championships and used it as an excuse for their ass-kicking by Duquesne in the first round of the CBI. :rofl: Awesome season! let's do it again next year!

Great season, thanks to the players and coaches for working endlessly to make it possible. Too bad nobody but Devon showed up against SDSU, but this is still a HUGE step forward for the program. It will be hard to replace 4 seniors next year, but the Bears should be a top team in the BSC for the foreseeable future. Well done bears :clap:
 
Outstanding season! I think that championship game against Montana may well have been the most fun game I've _ever_ been witness to! Looking forward to more fun next year! Thank you, gentlemen!!
 
I'll second that Eddie Munster!!! A big thanks to all Bears and to all Big Sky fans (regardless of a few bad apples) !! That was a ton of fun this year!! Lets keep the momentum going into fall and beyond. GO BEARS !!!
