The mentality of that Iowa fan is all too familiar to us, which is probably why you don't see most of our fans talk like that. It's that BCS superiority complex that all non-BCS schools have to deal with, unfortunately. Obviously, a goal for UNM would be to someday become a BCS school (but that day is probably a long ways away), but I hope we never get that attitude along with it.

Also, UNM didn't have any level of sustained success in football until the last decade or so. In fact, through most of the 1980's we were just plain pathetic in football. So we're just getting used to winning seasons and bowl games.

this season is wide open for the lobo's, I've seen predictions saying they will finish 2nd in the MWC, but then that say 8th, kinda interesting, anyways good luck on this season(after sept 2nd

thanks for keeping it Civil, we hope our future opponents fans will be the same, our only oregon fan(oregonbucfan) has'nt been an issue at all, very respectful, hopefully the rest are like that

keep it hush hush but I'm not looking foward to the beavers fans
