That Arizona game

First impression was that I really liked the road version of our uniforms which is strange because they are just blue versions of the home ones which I don't like as much.

There were some moments in that game (the steals and aggressive defense especially) that I really liked but we were just outmatched by a very good Arizona team. You always hope for the best going into a game like that and once in a while they put themselves in a position to be big time giant killers (@ Oklahoma last year) but it was not to be today. Well done anyway Bears.

Hopefully they can rebound against Santa Clara in a couple of nights.

The sad thing is that I was surprise that the game was in Arizona (thought it was in Vegas). Shows how much I pay attention.
 
Yeah I think we were just outmatched, they were so much bigger and athletic and not that it mattered but they had about 5X the free throws... also we can't miss so many lay ups and expect to beat anyone, for a minute there I though Kirk Archebeque was on the roster again, argh.

The uniforms, this was my first good look at them... my impression was that they are very bland and almost annoymous. The lettering is totaly block with no uniqueness to UNC. There isn't a UNC logo anywhere, last year the word mark was unique and in the font of our logo and also we had the NC logo on the colar, this year no NC logo at all. Also, last year we had a Big Sky patch on the shorts, this year no Big Sky patch anywhere...

They seem to me like it was 2 days before the first game and we didn't have any uniforms so BJ Hill had to go down to Garretson's and have them print up something real fast from what they had in stock. :(
 
I knew this game was gonna be a beat down. Arizona was just bigger, faster, and stronger. But I think if we didn't miss so many shots it would've been a little closer. Addo is turning into a really good player.
 
Addo was a definite bright spot. He looked a lot more comfortable out there tonight. We are going to have to raise our commitment on the defensive end if we are going to be a post season type team.
