• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

The thing that strikes me right off the bat is the time frame that these players were at ISU. This isn't a two, three or four year period. It stretches from the 80's. There have been a few lulls, but I've always thought that the ladies have been the most consistent ISU team, year in year out.

If you go by things like winning seasons, wins, times to the post season, the women's basketball program has been the standard-bearer for the university.

And they've done it with three different coaches since the start of the new century. That's difficult to do and impressive that they could keep things going like that.

I suspect a big reason for this is because the area actually cares about women's basketball, that is noticed by recruits and is a great selling point for the coaching staff. I mean ISU actually averages more fans than most WAC, Mountain West and even some Pac-12 programs.

I knew that Tuff...it'll be like ISU week down here. We have an exhibition with Adams State and Louis Wilson along with the regular season game with Alma Mater #2 for me.
