Each year we have three Out-of-Conference games. One is
The Big Game, most often a Pac-12 rival. One year we had TCU. One is the
Tune-up Game, the cupcake game. I suggest the third game be
The East-West Match Game with someone we can beat but we're not really sure about. Essentially, a mysterious match of unknown equals.
Might I suggest future games scheduling in New England, the Mid-Atlantic and the Midwest? Could we schedule future games against members of the Ivy League like Dartmouth? How about teams like Colgate? Drake? Kent State? Teams with identities that would appeal to our own. Also, this is way to work in the kind of tradition that gives us a more nationally-recognized name.
