The Cat fight- MSU predictions

I would love to say we will win, but I just cant see it after our last 2 games. We have no Offensive imagination, run run pass against one of the top defenses in the Sky, and Im sure we will do exactly the same vs yet another great defensive team. I think the weather helps make us look better than we are and its a low scoring affair.

MSU 24
WSU-17

Without O. Davis, our offense and Weber's look a lot alike so game-plan wise it should be an easy week preparation.

You guys always play a physical brand of football and play us tough. With Hoke back next week, your team may look entirely different. Its not as McGhee has been lighting up the passing attack this year. He has been effective though when needed.

Weber 24

We lost our physical brand of football the last 2 weeks, we need to find it again or MSU will run (its gonna be cold and wet) all over us.

Here's hoping for a Miracle.

:flag: What part of towel-throwing do you guys not understand..... remember 45-10. Is it basketball season yet? Montana State 42 Weber 24. 42-7 if Hoke doesn't play. :wall:

If Hoke was close to playing in Missoula he should play this week right? It's just hard to get excited about this victory when the playoffs are out of the question. I was looking forward to this one earlier on in the season too.

Just don't know what I think about this team anymore. They lost that "it" factor in the second half of the SUU game. I don't see them getting it back against MSU.

MSU 35
WSU 17

I didn't pick WSU to win this game at the start of the year and Im not going to change my mind now.
MSU 34
WSU 17

going to a football game is still much better than not going to a game, besides with smaller crowds I can sit pretty much wherever I want while I eat my Ligori's meatball sandwich
Go Wildcats!!

I agree, lot of unanswered questions, lot of 'what if's' going on.... just gotta strap up, man up, and get up....don't worry about tomorrow, just play every play like it's your last play......period

I have little faith in our team. After watching that Ass Kicking in Missoula I realized how badly the coaching staff needs to be shaken up. Mac, of course, is great, but he needs to get rid of the parts of the staff that are really damaging the teams progress. Having two D coordinators is worthless. Neither one of the two are fit to run a defense. Next the offensive line has only gotten worse this year. That is in direct correlation to the OL coach. With the talent on that line, it is embarrassing how many sacks the line has given up this year.

as for the game...the defense has the ability and talent but not the coaches to stop the Bobcats. The offense without Hoke will be lost. Jordan, did an admirable job, but he isn't anywhere as prepared to run the offense as Hoke is.

I will probably get blasted for saying, or even thinking this, but the buck stops with the head coach. If his coordinators are worthless than it's his fault for hiring them or keeping them on. So it's hard to say Mac is great and then talk about how bad the coordinators and the team are. Coach Mac is a great guy and an excellent recruiter but his teams are often undisciplined on and off the field and fail to adapt or innovate (this year's team for sure). We could very well be looking at a 3 or 4 win season. That should be unacceptable to everyone, and as the head coach, Coach Mac has to take some, if not most, of the blame. I know that this year's team is very young, but if he isn't successful over the next two years then it will really start to feel like his stay at Utah all over again (improved the program, program leveled off, and wasn't able to get to the next level of excellency).

But, It isn't Mac's fault that WSU doesn't have the $$ to pay good assistants. It's hard to get good assistants with what $$ Mac has to work with.

Good point. The good assistants he has had in the past quickly jump ship for more money.

right on all points, got talent, but not getting production, sad.
