The Conference is up for grabs

Seems to me the conference is up for grabs. Montana is really struggling this year. As of now I can see either Montana State or Eastern Washington taking the conference, but they're not a lock by any means. I still think we can finish in the top 3 or 4. Especially if we beat the Griz on homecoming, which is a real possibility. Either way, isn't it awesome to see Montana struggling?! Ha ha!!

I agree on both points, the conference up for grabs and Montana struggling. If things fall our way I think we could finish 4th. I think Montana will be in the mix come end of the season, just have a feeling.

There's definitely a shift going on in the conference now which should also help recruiting. Weber was probably a little hung over from the 4 OT game with UNC but I didn't think Sac State would beat them. Eastern Wash. and MT. State seem to be the top two in the conference this year. If the trainers can get the O-line and running back healthy, I think there's a real shot at #2 or #3 maybe even #1. The Bears have demonstrated that they can be competitive with anyone in the conference this year and I've heard or read that as a team they believe they can win the conference and make the playoffs.

If Sac can pull off the upset against Montana this weekend, I will concede that the conference is up for grabs. I think Montana just has too good of a tradition to be counted out so early
