Think student tickets will still be free? I know it says that ticket prices are the same, but if so, what seats would they get free, the third deck? Behind the basket?
Weber's Dee Events Center was only 11 million...the new Yankee Stadium, keep in mind there is no roof will be 1 billion!
PSU deserves a new home...hosting the Big Sky tourney apparently didn't help...y is the state hate'n? WSU got a new home for WSU Volleyball a couple yrs back and attendance sky rocketed. I think the same would happen for the Vik's.
First things first. The Stott Center serves as a lot more than just a basketball/volleyball venue. There are rec activities that occur within the facility as well as offices for the Athletic Department. Those must have a new home prior to a new/remodel of the Stott Center.
Why can't PSU envision and plan before the rec center is completed?
That makes no sense to me. People conceive multi-phased projects all the time. Boise has a plan for a new track stadium followed by a "filling in" of the football stadium to increase capacity, and the plan is being revised due to continually revised notions of whether the field surface of the Blue can be lowered.
