True... There is high risk in taking a big job. However, if you're smart with the money, even just a few years at a big paying job like that can set you up for a while and even if you went to a lower paying 100k a year coaching job after that, you'd still be financially secure.
 
As Eastern continues to win, I hope they can find ways to increase the salary of Coach B. and other staff, to build a dominant program year in and year out. $200K+ a year goes a long way in the Spokane area.

This. I keep thinking of this as we're making big investments in infrastructure. I hope we can find a way to make human investments. This coaching staff has done a ton for the university on comparably shitty pay.
