We choked, if we had Beitzel I think we win by 10 but unfortunatly only about 4 guys seemed to show up and the rest... well... we get zero guard play off the bench which killed us, Elliott Lloyd is a terrible shooter, I'll be surprised if he's back next year, not DI talent.

It was a great run though we just seemed to run out of gas at the end of the season, or rust after 9 days off.

Damn! Oh well, great season Bears! I never cared about basketball before, but watching these guys gave me a new appreciation for the game. We might still make the NIT or that other tournament which would be great for getting our players more experience for next year. We are gonna be good for years to come!

Now, hopefully our football team can have a season like this

I agree. Kaba tried to do too much, taking to many wild shots. Lloyd didn't look comfortable out there. They both have played better than they did tonight.

I agree. Devon would have made a HUGE diference. Even without him, the Griz needed help from Chris Rastatter and his fellow officials. The calls down the stretch showed that the Big Sky doesn't want the new kid on the block to have too much success too fast.

Yeah I was thinking about this game today, we really shit the bed, this was such a huge opportunity that we blew. Just to make it to the title game and be on ESPN during prime time, not at 3am would have been so huge... very frustrating.

And the point above is huge, why was Osbourne not out there if for any other reason than to match up size wise? It's not like he couldn't not produce any offense like Montgomery and Kingman.

I don't put this on the refs we just looked like we played scared, no confidence, also to be honest as the season wore on teams stopped taking us lighly and we were no longer surprising anyone and that really made things more difficult. It's easy to be the underdog but all of a sudden we get to Ogden and are the higher seed and the favorite and come out timid and piss down our leg... a very disapointing way to end an amazing season. These type of loses make you sick to your stomach.
