Anybody got a pic of the New Waldo? I wasnt at the game last weekend and didnt get to see him

I don't care at all about mascots, in fact I kind of dislike them. But my kids want the old Waldo back. The new one scares them.

The new mascot is OK. The kids are going to be fine with it. Quite frankly, the old one scared the sh!tt out of me. :yikes:

All he has to do is hand out a few toys and the kids will want to pet him.

I like the smaller head and less cartoonish look. He's not so realistict as to take a shot from a hunter.

Can we move on to the cheer leaders now? :nod:

Agreed. Doesn't it look eerily similar, perhaps like a slightly more feminine version of BYU's Cosmo? Ugh. Glad to see WSU's funds are well spent. I had no problem with the last Waldo. :roll:
 
After my kids saw the new Waldo, they asked me why Waldo looked so angry. I told them it was because Weber State was losing. (They were down 7-0 at the time.) After the game one of my kids said that Waldo was going to be angry for a long time.
 
i like the new one a lot better but i dont like any mascots and would rather have none. the old one was way worse. i cant believe anyone could like the old one better, it was embarassing, huge head, cartoon looking, the head would even lean backwards as the guy walked around.

the new one looks like the wsu logo.
 
I agree with catcat. I hated the old one. I like the new one. Looks way better than the old one. And compared to other wildcat mascots, it may look the best among the other wildcats now. I still probably like Arizona's better. But other than that, I'd take Waldo.

My views on the old one resemble what was said on this website. "He’s the creepy one that looks like a character from an ’80s children’s sci-fi movie."

But it matches our shitty cartoon-looking new logo. ;-)
