The PAC/MWC Dominoes Begin to Fall

Hey now.. That's not fair. What exactly did I say that was wrong?

Just figuring all this whole thing out here.. so, this Brennan Marion guy you have as a coach, just looking into his background (noticed he wears a cowboy hat, which is cool):

-Zero College Head Coaching Experience
-Two years Head Coaching experience at High Schools- Two Different schools in two years.. Had a losing season during one of those two years as High School Coach:

St. Patrick-St. Vincent: 5–6
Waynesboro Area: 6-4

So, as far as winning seasons go at the High School Level he Head Coached- he has a 1-1 record..

Was it the cowboy hat? Was it something else? Just can't quite figure out this hire..

Your new head coach really moves between jobs fast!

This guy seems like he's on the fast-track for some reason.. Never stays in the same place too long.. Why is that?

His wikipedia starts with his "Early Career" - Get this- his "early career starts in 2013! 2013 was like yesterday to me..

2013 - Head Coach Saint Patrick Saint Vincent - Vallejo losing record
2015 - "quality control coach" Arizona State
2016 - "was a running back coach for Oklahoma Baptist"
2017-2018 - Howard
2019 - William and Mary
2020 - Hawaii
2021 - Pittsburgh
2023 - UNLV
2024 - Sac State Head Coach

Amazing that someone who failed to keep a job for more than 2 years in a row since his career started would be given a head coaching position.. With ZERO college head coaching (any level) experience. Again.. was it the cowboy hat.. or.. ?

That would have been a huge red flag for me in the hiring process, not to mention the lack of results as a head coach at the college level (because he never was and has 2 years total head coaching experience at the high school level).

Hey man, we get it—you’re clearly obsessed with Sac State football. It's giving major “creepy dude” energy. You’re on here more than some of our actual fans.

It’s starting to feel less like banter and more like a cry for help. No judgment, but the vibe screams messy life, weird social skills, and way too much alone time with the internet.

If Sac State makes you feel this many things, maybe just admit you wish you were part of something better. 🙂

@ Bodega. Honestly, I like Sac State, know a few good people who attended there.

Really don't like Wood and his douchey comments.

Did a new video of "Dr. Wood" explaining all the details of the new stadium funding just drop?

If you watch at 2:40 in the above video - Wood addresses where all the funding comes from.

You’re still here? At this point it’s getting weird. And you’re a Cal Poly guy? Are we sure this isn’t SLO’s finest, Scott Peterson himself, sending messages from his cell? I mean, the delusion, the obsession, the completely unearned confidence… it all tracks. 🤪

It's like when you have to slow down not to hit a racoon or something.

You care about the other individual (we are all in this together) and you don't want them to get hurt..

Also, if it means anything, I also think Jeff Armstrong - Cal Poly President is a douche also.

It's weird.. both their DEI agendas align.. reading Wood's Twitter.. 2/3 Tweets say black or are related to race in some way shape or form.

Woods seems to be focused on creating some sort of "Black-Centric" State there at Sac.. Good luck with that whole thing.. think a big H guy tried creating ethno-centric stuff and MLK and others said it was a bad idea.

Wow spandos, you're pretty triggered that the Congress folks that represent this area are taking up one of their constituents' causes. Sounded to me like they were doing what they were elected to do, which is looking out for the best interest of their constituents.

Regarding your "not being prepared" for FBS comments. Yes, yes we are prepared in that we hit every metric required for FBS status. The NCAA's lone reasoning for our exclusion from FBS is the need of a conference invite, which would be fine if the NCAA was a private entity not composed of institutions reliant on taxpayer funds.

Not just the conference invite. The congressman mentioned that the NCAA told conferences NOT to invite any FCS teams. So, this is collusion and antitrust. There is no, "if Sac State just did x,y,z they could get in."

Spandos, seek help. I seriously hope you get better. I'm not sure what the deal is with your obsession with Sac State but the racially charged comments about Dr. Wood is in poor form. Be a better person.

So, I'm confused now.. I was reading "Dr Luke Woods" Twitter feed here again (I would take advice from Dr. Pepper before this guy) and came across a weird post he made:

So, in this post there are a few weird things.

- Luke Wood says he took a DNA test and he's 100% African American - Ok, that part I guess maybe makes sense, I mean, he's no Don Cheadle (maybe their tests got mixed up at the DNA testing place) but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that statement..
- Wood then says he learned his "Black Power" score is 100. That I don't think DNA tests indicate.. do they? Do DNA tests give white people a "White Power" score when they take them too? I guess what he's saying there is a joke? It's not really funny.. but... maybe a joke?
- He then says his "Tolerance Score For White Fragility is 5%" That's supposed to be funny?

As a white person I do find this quite unprofessional and even racist.

I'm also having trouble squaring his bizarre post on Twitter (racist post in my opinion) with what he said on the Dr. Phil Show in the following clip where he says at around the 20:00 mark:

"Yeah, I'm half black, and half white, I'm black. That's how it works":

So, was he joking about being half black and half white (which makes him black) in the Dr. Phil Interview, or was he joking in the Twitter post saying he took a DNA test that said he was 100% African American?

This guy is giving off serious Rachel Dolezal vibes.

His adopted parents are Caucasian. It is his mission to turn Sac into CSU-HBCU for the system. He created the first Black only Honors college, most public facing literature (website, social accounts, etc.) have mostly Black students represented. When they only constitute a small % of the general student and public demographic (13%?). He hired a black football coach, basketball coach, his AD is black, almost all of the BBall team is black, majority of the football team is black and he frequently speaks to black dominated hosted civic and church events. All music at every sporting event is rap/gangsta.

Imagine if our previous Caucasian President created a 'White only Honors college'?
Or, UCD creating a 'Asians only Honors College'?
Or, Fresnot creating a 'Latino only Honors College'?

It is reverse discrimination 101. Which is what DEI is all about.

Oh yeah, I forgot... We can't ban idiot trolls on here because one of our mods is a gigantic racist troll.

Thats right, I am against all forms of discrimination, reverse or otherwise. DEI is reverse discrimination. If you profuse it, you are racist. Look at the csus.edu website at the top, why call out being a Asian Islander, Black and Hispanic serving recognized institution? Why is that the call out and not we are a R2 Research driven University that promotes all students based on ability, proven prior achievement and desire?

Can you explain why we dont have a White Honors College? I know you wouldnt be a candidate, but curious why it is ok for one culture to be 'racist' and another its taboo? Last time I checked all Homo Sapiens have the same DNA genome.

What happened to good old rock n roll being played at sporting events? Why does everything have to now be a tribal rap monstrosity?
