Hard to believe we are already 1/2 through this season, seems like it just started. Will the Eagles end up with the same record in the second 1/2 half as the first, then what does that do to our playoff hopes? I think 8-4 gets us in the playoffs with a first round bye but a long road trip to a high seed in the next round. Not good.

How about 10-2? The Griz end the season with 3 losses (NAU, EWU, MSU). We win the head to head with MSU and are conference champs too. We get 3 home playoff games and beat the Griz twice in the same season en route to our second national championship in 4 years. Hey, it could happen.

I really don't think it's stretch at all for this team to win out. I understand why people have doubts about this team, and I do too, but I also think this team is one breakout win away from figuring it all out. I'm playing it safer than winning out and saying we finish 9-3.
I should probably revise my prediction. After we win a second national championship, Joe Biden will make a $10m contribution toward the construction of the Gateway Project. We will immediately be admitted into the MWC for the 2014-2015 season and earn a berth (Chaves petitions the NCAA) in the Armed Forces Bowl. We beat Navy in that game (after finally mastering the triple option) and become the first team to win an FCS title and bowl game in the same calendar year. Oh yeah. Cougs lose in the Apple Cup 45-9.
