The status of Daily?

Haven't heard. One tip for him to increase his carries/playing time - wear a piece of tape over his mouth, or just keep his mouthpiece in - it will keep him from talking. Maybe Dailey will get it when Evander needs a break and they put in Kenslow Smith or Sam McGowan ahead of him...

Sam McCowan should start, at the rate he is going he could be the best running back in the history of the school.

With all due respect, that is crazy talk. He has done nothing yet to show he can surpass Sir Charles.

Guess this goes to show all of you that from what you see from the stands means nothing, apparently he wasn't in the doghouse, he came out and started saturday at PSU, then carried the ball 34 times for over 100 yards and a TD.

Maybe it does show somethingto us in the stands.....but not necessary something good.

We did see the embarassing Dailey episode from the stands. Embarassing for Dailey and his teammates/family/friends. Typical of someone who screws up a Pac 10 scholarship. Who else are they going to use against PSU? McCowen contributed, Evander is hurt, Croxdale had hand surgery, and I don't know what's going on with Kenslow Smith.
We will see.

So what if Terrance Daily has attitude. He is 19 years old. Anyways, this team desperately needs players with attitude, especially coming from the best running back on the team. If the defense had his attitude they wouldn't have been utterly ripped and embarassed by SLO and EWU.

I'd like to see Dailey break a few long runs, say 40yds+. We need a big back like him. Just hang onto the ball.

I would like to see Dailey RUN 410 yds. against the Bengals this Saturday. Sir Charles tagged them for 409.

Daily may have attitude, who knows? Were not on the sideline, and if he did i think he proved himself this week against PSU that he can handle it, otherwise why would sperbeck let him start, and give him 34 carries, both him and MCcowan averaged 4 yards a carry against PSU. I think there is something there were missing and that the so called episode may have been blown out of proportion.

I like how he said they want to "come out and pound them" (Ruder, Sac Bee). It is a much more positive or assertive attitude than some of the pessimistic quotes we get to read. I hope he plays this Saturday; however, Daily should not be disrespectful at all.

Go Hornets!
