Vandals looked great last night but judging their season as a whole, the UCA win against Arkansas State, the WIU win against NIU, the scholarship differences, and the fact that FCS teams always play on the road against FBS there really isn't much separation between the top 50 in FCS and the G5.
But Linehan thinks they should reconsider moving down...

This whole Idaho should stay FBS thing is just a train wreck. I found myself wanting to pull for Idaho last night because they're local, and because of Coach Graham's son, but seeing the comments from their QB and fans after the game is just embarrassing. Do they really think the Sun Belt is a worthy conference?? Two of their best teams (including this year's champ) were FCS just a few years ago!
Idaho would not have beaten EWU this year and likely would not have beaten North Dakota and possibly Weber State and Cal Poly. They struggled at home vs a 3 win Montana State team! They lost to Wazzu by 50+ for goodness sake! The Big Sky is where they belong and they just can't accept it.
I certainly hope the Big Sky isn't just waiting around for them, because schedules need to be made for 2018 and it's not fair to the 13 other teams in the conference. :tothehand:

We won 4 games bud, but we should have beaten Idaho. We had them on the ropes the entire second half, just couldn't get the offense to produce (Bruggman played most of the game). Reality is the Sun Belt is a worse conference than the Big Sky.ewueagle2010 said:
