Thoughts and Prayers to Schroeder Family

I was very saddened to hear that the wife of former Bengal David Schroeder passed away today. The thoughts and prayers of the ISU family are with David and his girls today.

I just heard last night at the women's alumni game from Matt Stucki that she was gravely ill. She was only 26...unbelievable.

Like Brad said, we are remembering David and his family. Today.

David is my favorite Bengal basketball player of all time. I have never met him but I really admire him. He has had to overcome so much adversity for such a young guy. This breaks my heart and I do pray for comfort for him and his family with all sincerity.

I'm very sorry for this sad loss. Such fine young people.

A benefit was planned in a couple of weeks to help with medical and living expenses for the Schroeder family. I assume it's still going on. It would be nice to help in any way we can, and ISU should donate time, tickets, or memorabilia if at all possible to the auction.
