Three weeks from today!!!

Wouldn't miss it. I'll be there with with my parents as well as an assortment of washed up old Eagles like myself. It's gonna be a party!

I will honestly be shocked if we don't win by at least 4 touchdowns. There is just no way you can stop our running game or our passing game, even with a green QB. Your offense will have fits with our D-line, and assuming Q-Rich recovers from his leg injury in time, I don't see how your receivers will get open on our secondary.

I really do think it will be a repeat:

There's no way your db's can hang with our recievers the whole game. We will score on you with our passing attack. the question is can we stop your running game; no not completely, but we will score more points.

You are delusional if you think the dogs are even close to that years Cal Bears and I can assure the Eagles are at another level above where we were that year, no two levels up.

purplereign;
I have a better idea! If 4TD's in favor of the Huskies is the line, I'll flip you a Benjy for every point over and you do the same for every point under.
How confident are you??

Different teams, different years. Cal blew a lot of teams out that year, not just the Eagles. If you are trying to point in differences in athletic ability and depth between a Pac-10 team and Big Sky team, then fair enough. I could point to games where we have been competitive with BCS schools, but what would the point be. Each season and game is its own, so I don't see what the point in bringing up 2 year old games between a different team is. :twocents:

Exactly. Last year we held Nevada to less points than five of the FBS teams on their schedule including Cal. It was still 49 points and we still lost. :mrgreen:

yep, Nevada destroyed a whole bunch of teams last year, Cal, Idaho come to mind. even as one dimensional and as poorly as we played in the first four games last year we were still more competitive than many of those teams they were playing down the stretch. the UW should probably win this game by two or three scores the lines will be the major difference in this one so if we dont execute well on offense our D is going to have some porblems. Still, there is an outside shot we could make this a close game.

The last time the Real Eagles (Georgia Southern) played Nevada and the Zonies we put a smack down on those punks.

:lol: They didn't happen to be in the Big Sky when that happened, did they?

what's with Georgia Southern fans anyway, one good season after a handful of crappy ones, and now the arrogance comes right back. At least they're not as bad as NDSU fans. Hands down the worst in FCS.

No one is worse than NDSU fans......not Montana, or anyone else back east. They're in a league of their own. :D

As for Georgia Southern.....hard to argue with 6 National Championships, or however many they have. They have a good shot off knocking App State off their perch and winning the SOCON this year. :thumb:
