what's with Georgia Southern fans anyway, one good season after a handful of crappy ones, and now the arrogance comes right back. At least they're not as bad as NDSU fans. Hands down the worst in FCS.

No one is worse than NDSU fans......not Montana, or anyone else back east. They're in a league of their own. :D

As for Georgia Southern.....hard to argue with 6 National Championships, or however many they have. They have a good shot off knocking App State off their perch and winning the SOCON this year. :thumb:

I edited your post Ranger to change it to 6. If those GSU fans read 5, we'd have all of 'em over here to correct us. :D

Unfortunately I can't make the seattle trip due to work, I was hoping there will be some sort of watch party they put together like last year, does anyone know anything about this?

So who all is driving over from the Spokane area? The friend I was going to catch a ride with can no longer go, so I have an extra ticket but no way over there in back. Could anybody help me out?

 I can't believe you would even post that video on here!!! Not only is u-dub not as good as that Cal team of 2009, but we are 3 x's better than that EWU team! Not even a comparison! I'm ashamed to call myself a Dawg fan with how rediculous some of you are acting about this game! I'm a Dawg fan everyday but this one and I watch every single footbal game that both of these teams play. I can assure all of you cocky Husky fans that this will not be the big blowout you all seem to think! You have no idea what this Eastern team has to offer, your just running your mouths because EWU is a smaller school. These boys have nothing to lose!! We are getting paid to come play for state bragging rights in a situation where nobody expects them to win. I'm not saying the Eagles will win, but they sure as hell won't lay down and give up just because UW is a FBS, Pac-12 team!! :notworthy: GO EAGLES!!!!

Sorry in advance if this has already been mentioned, but word is Polk will be out a couple of weeks and could miss the game after having knee surgery to repair meniscus tear

I'm still around, just this forum can be pretty slow to reply at times so I got out of habit of checking in on it.

With or without Polk, I still don't see how the Eagles keep it close. Look at your schedule last year, it's not like you dominated FCS caliber teams, you barely won a good chunk of those games.

You could win, I just think it's highly unlikely and I do expect a big dawg victory.

Of course you don't see how we can keep it close, because you haven't seen us play, and know very little about the team we field other than boxscores from last year. With Polk out, this game will be much closer. If I were a dawg fan, I'd be getting real worried if Polk does indeed miss the game. From the sounds of it, he will miss it. I think Sark will keep him just to be safe.

Asked if Polk is out of the opener against Eastern Washington, which was 16 days away Thursday, Sarkisian said, "I think it could be. It potentially could be. We don't know. It depends on his body and how it recovers.

I will honestly be shocked if we don't win by at least 4 touchdowns. There is just no way you can stop our running game or our passing game, even with a green QB. Your offense will have fits with our D-line, and assuming Q-Rich recovers from his leg injury in time, I don't see how your receivers will get open on our secondary.

I really do think it will be a repeat:

You are delusional if you think the dogs are even close to that years Cal Bears and I can assure the Eagles are at another level above where we were that year, no two levels up.

I think we are close to that years Cal team, in fact the 2009 dawgs beat that same Cal team 30-10, so it's not like they were juggernauts.

I remember that team... They were juggernauts early in the season until everyone figured them out. But the EWU team they played was nowhere near as good as this years EWU team.

Cal was #12 in the AP poll at that time. Do you think this years UW team is close that level?
