Does anyone know if there are any tickets available. The ticket office says they are not accepting anymore ticket requests.

I wanna go to boise, anyone know how to get tkts?

Hook a boy up! I'll cheer on the Viks!

+1. I'm a student with no way of getting there, so if anybody's driving from Portland, count me in. I'm sure there's some way we can get tickets, legitimately or otherwise.

I can't really justify $70 for the bus trip, especially if it's just for the first round game. I'd much rather stay the whole weekend. I guess I might go to a party in Portland if I have to.

I have two tickets to the Friday afternoon session.

I'm a USU Aggie and just bought my tickets through the Taco Bell Arena box office. But they would only sell tickets for the whole weekend. I can only attend the Friday morning session. As a result I have two tickets for the afternoon session for sale (and the Sunday session too if the Aggies lose — but they wont!).

I'm not looking to sell them for a bunch of money, just looking to offset the extra cost of having to buy tickets for the whole weekend instead of just USU's session.

I've been to three of XU's first round games without a ticket in hand. Each time I bought tickets from a scalper outside for only 5-15 dollars over face. Then for the second round, I bought tickets from the fans of the losing first round games that purchased the full session set. And those were below face.

I know it sounds risky to go from Portland (or Utah - WSU fan) to Boise without tix, but is should work out fine. My tix were bought in Detroit, DC, and Orlando.

WiViking...since you are a student, I say round up some friends and go...The trip to Detroit was my freshman year at X....great experience!

About your point-- We have great public transportation here, so I don't have a car. I'm also one of less than fifty students who isn't a scholarship athlete who goes to the games. It's hard to find people to go with. Trust me, if the opportunity comes along, I'll go.

I say go !!
I realize it's easy to say when you're not a student, but opportunities like this - for a great experience - don't come around very often.
I went to Omaha last year....for a once in a lifetime experience.......and it was worth every penny. I'll never forget it.
Go....you won't ever regret it later, but you likely will if you don't.

Kudos to PSU for setting these up. I'd love to get reports from those who hit the Mission and Rogue. Hopefully, they get full houses.

I wish I woulda saw this thread I wasn't online all week, thats a first!

I went on a WSU bus to the NIT at SDSU, 12 hrs tues (yikes), then 12 hrs wed back home (yikes). Arrived in Ogden, UT at 6am Thurs morning.

Then 8 hours later left for Boise (4 hr drive) to see the NCAA 1st Rd. I was able to get tkts in advance to see USU and Marquette. Didn't end up getting tkts to PSU game though I wished I would have went. After all the traveling we decided to cancel the hotel for the 2nd night and just head home since PSU was a later game.

We stayed in the Wisconsin hotel, Badgers were every where. I talked to one badger who was a senior and didn't remember playing Weber in 2003 in the tourney since it was before his day. I thought it was pretty cool metting one of their players. So when I got home after a lovely 4 hour drive, better than 12, I caught the end of the FSU/Wisconsin game. We couldn't see that player we met, then we finally noticed he was on the sideline. He was a rallyman! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!

I agree with the Xavier fan, once your there, pretty easy to get a tkt if you didn't have one. Especially with USU having 75% of the stadium for their session, I bet a lot of em had tkts to the PSU session and a lot of em went home after the loss to Marquette.

So other than missing out on seeing your game it was a lot of fun going to the tourney, they even had the blue turf open so I went & took some pics.

I can't believe Boise had Taco Bell Arena in the Big Sky, its a nice facility, about 15,000 capacity I heard.
