Best chance for the sky to get two seeds is UM wins out and EWU only loses to UM. That would put EWU at like. 5-6 and UM at a 7-8. UND just isn't a able to jump enough teams to get to the top 8. Unless EWU and UM both lose a game thennnn maybe UND gets a seed. I just don't think anyone outside of the sky thinks UND is legit. That being said I see EWU as 3-4 and no other sky member seeded.
Seedimg is not based on conference affiliation. If UND and UM both win out, UND has a better resume. They would also have a better resume than UTC who finishes with Wofford and Bama. The MVFC and CAA one loss teams all play each other. UND would definitely be in the discussion.
Griz are now hearing footsteps from both directions...
Nobody said it was based on conf affiliation....plus UND doesn't have a better resume. They wont have a top 25 win. SD won't be top 25 at year end and Cal Poly has EWU and Weber left, if they lose again I doubt they stay 25 material. Montana in this senerio would have a EWU win and a road loss to a just outside top 25 team and UND would have a loss to a just outside 25 team. Montana would have a 1 loss record and UND would have 2 losses. One FBS I know. Plus Montana has history on their side. Unfair as it is the committee with 100% give a seed or home game to Montana WAY before a 1st time playoff team in UND. I don't think this happens anyway as I think EWU wins out and is the lone Seed from the sky
You said there's no chance UND gets a seed even if they win out. I agree a 10-1 Montana gets in ahead of a 9-2 UND but that's not what initially said or what I was arguing. Then you speculate further with how Poly and USD finish but it's a just outside the top 25 loss in the case of Montana.
A 9-2 UND will have a better resume than a 9-2 Montana. Unless CP and USD both completely shit the bed (more likely with USD), UND will be in the conversation for the aforementioned reasons.
