Time for the Eagles to Focus

That was a great win on Saturday, but now is no time for a let down.

Regional college football fans will inevitably compare EWU's performance on Saturday in Bozeman to WSU's performance against Montana State at home a little over a week ago.

The celebration was grand, but MSU has a very good team, and EWU will need to focus on preparations if they are to succeed in Bozeman.

Let there be no doubt.

USA Today Saragrin poll:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt10.htm
#98 Eastern (64.25)
...
#121 Washington State (59.05)

Go Eags!

No doubt, whatever we do will be compared to WSU. Beating Montana State would be huge for our program... it's definitely a game we should win, but it'll be really tough in Bozeman.

I was just coming on here to post the same thing. Great win, but we have to go to bozeman on saturday, and they're going to be hungry, we've beaten them like 6 years in a row, and we're now the number 9 team in the country, we definitely have a HUGE target on our backs.

This could be the game that MAKES or BREAKS us !! GOEAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll maintain that I still think MSU could be the strongest team in the conference right now....their defense is really good, and they've gotten better offensively. As big as the win against UM was, I still think this game will be tougher - on the road and with a huge target on our backs. Still, we can do it. Now's not the time for a let-down game. One game at a time!
