The university of Albany just built this stadium that will open this year. It will seat 8500 but can be expanded to 25K. This cost $24 million. ISU has to look at doing something new.

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. That would be nice but that's also a lot of money to try to come up with. Really that's always the bottom line, can you get the funds (and the land I guess) to pay for a project of this magnitude?
You'd have to think ISU has been looking at ways for potentially a new basketball only arena and maybe a football stadium, (given the ages of Holt Arena and Reed Gym) how far along anything might be, I don't know.
