Haha! Three of those posts are mine. I like visiting and posting on eGriz as much as I like visiting and posting here. Griz fans are the only other conference fans that care at all about hoops, and the hoops side of eGriz really does have some great posters who can appreciate some stuff from our board. And by the way, the Weber-Montana Highlights post was totally meant as a way to boast about the ass kicking Weber gave UM in Ogden. There were no Griz highlights shown in the video, because there were no Griz highlights.
 
When someone makes a similar video highlighting WSU Basketball, I wonder how women's highlights will be included? :stir:

My favorite part of Montana fans is they think we are jealous of their women's basketball success. They really believe we wish our women's team was good. :ohno: They think we say we don't care just because our team is not good. :rofl:

I dont like womens hoops, but I wish out womens team would win a game, it reflects badly on our University, heck even our sorry crock football team won two road games last season.

As a UM alum, I'd root for the Griz if they fielded a team in Mixed-Martial Arts Twister.
 
Since this tread has turned to Lady's ball, I have to ask, has Ord been fired yet? If not, I got to think the only reason she hasn't is because Bovee doesn't want to admit he was wrong in hiring her. If you are going to pay her like a men's coach, you've got to hold her accountable like a men's coach. Any men's coach in the country that went winless would be out of a job the day the season ended.

We do care that he university is spending way too much money on the women's team's coach! :roll:
 
Well, I'd argue you may be paying too much for the wrong coach.

Montana could be paying Selvig 10 times what he's making and they'd still be getting the best deal in town.
 
I once heard Ogden Godfather say "I would not care if we won 20 straight Big Sky women's basketball titles or went 0-20 for the next 10 years. Now volleyball that is another story...especially during the golden era aka the Legend of Al Givens...a truley skilled recruiter"

i was in shock when Al was canned. What was WSU thinking? Al was a great guy and indeed he had a keen eye for talent. when i was a student i went to wsu vball games. i didnt go to womens bball games even when they hosted and won the big sky. i do not mean any offense by that i just couldnt make it at the time. supporting mens bball and football is very time consuming. i dont think its offensive to say we dont have time or budget left over for other sports. :coffee:
