• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Tournament Opener

Holy crap... this was a team we annihilated two months ago. They got better. We didn't.

I think we could have survived one or two guys having a bad game, but there were a lot of guys who played really poorly tonight. Coward and Kyman a combined 2-14 from 3-pt land. Outrebounded by 7, including 11 offensive rebounds conceded.

This is a weird one because we've seen this script frequently. This team plays well from about Christmas until March, maybe 9-10 weeks of good ball. But everything that comes before and after is quite poor.

We definitely got better in the last 3 weeks...Freshmen started to really understand their roles...Hope you guys get a NIT bid, you deserve it and can make a great showing on a pretty big stage...Today we were the better team...Good luck...

Another tournament where we didn’t seem to learn the lessons from the previous season. I can accept losing but to do it in such a spectacular fashion to a team with a losing record is a hard one to swallow.

Are we guaranteed a bid to the NIT? I though I read somewhere some recent changes they made to keep sole of the mid-major conferences out.

I hate to single out players but I agree that those two played exceptionally poor. Jake Kyman who is usually a very reliable player may have played his worst game of the season from a shooting perspective. Lots of other players missed a bunch of easy shots inside as well.

That doesn’t explain getting out rebounded and not defending the perimeter.
