Tourney Talk - Best Shot at an Upset?

Well, since we are now officially in the Big Dance, might as well get some discussion going. According to ESPN's bracketology, right now we're projected as a 15 seed playing Notre Dame in Chicago in the first round. Which team currently projected as a top (1-3) seed, would you most like to see the Bears play and/or which top seed do you think the Bears have the best chance to upset? As of this morning (March 10), the 12 teams projected to be top 3 seeds are:
Kansas
Ohio State
Duke
Pittsburgh
Notre Dame
North Carolina
Brigham Young
Texas
Florida
San Diego State
Syracuse
Purdue

I personally would like to see a UNC/BYU first round match-up with the Beitzel/Fredette comparisons we've been talking about, and with Davies out for the Cougars it will make our size (or lack thereof) less of an issue. I also think we have a fairly decent match-up with Duke. They don't take the ball inside often, their top scoring big is Mason Plumlee who only averages 7.1 PPG and we have Kingman/Kaba who are pretty good match-ups with Singler. Smith would create problems for us, but maybe Elliott could step up for us and at least somewhat contain him (if only we still had Yahosh :( ) I feel like if nothing else we should at least be able to keep it respectable with one of those match-ups, so there's my take. What's yours?

I have seen 3 different brackets and all of them have us as a 15 playing different 2 seeds (San Diego State, Purdue, Notre Dame).

I don't know enough about the other teams (except the Big East where those are my local games). I do know I don't want a Big East team or Big East refs, though the toughness of Proctor really impressed me.

I guess BYU would be my wish, tohugh I would take any match-up if it means we are not in the play-in games in Dayton. That would suck.

I wish you guys nothing but the best, but you won't get those homer calls in the big dance.

I always root for the Big Sky team in the dance, but I feel bad for NAU and yes, even the Griz thanks to that officiating.

You shouldn't feel bad for anyone. UNC earned the "homer" calls by winning the regular season. Also, you didn't answer the question being asked in this thread

Okay. Any team that isn't in the Big East is your best shot. They play too physical for Big Sky teams.

BYU if you could get em.

As of Friday morning, SI and ESPN both had us as a #15 playing Texas in Tulsa... Not great, but a better match-up than Notre Dame probably. I'm just hoping we can at least keep it respectable
