I haven’t found a social media post yet, but according to Rivals, the Hornets have landed a hard commitment from 3 star WR Kamarie Smith (Long Beach Poly).

I happened to see this kid play last August when the Jackrabbits traveled up to Folsom. He was their lone bright spot with 8 receptions for 170 yards and 2 TD’s, including an 80 yarder. Small, but fast!

I don’t believe that is true. Dreyden Garner, Jamar Malone, and DeShawn Lynch are/were rated higher by 247.

He is the highest by fractions of a point over those three. The list on 24/7 is out of order though. But I trust the editor of 24/7.

Also, if Kamari’s comes back from summer a little bigger or shows out at one of these camps, he’s gonna go to a 4th star, easily. Very cool, but makes his decommitt more likely…

Social media has been around for a long time and we’ve never seen this much excitement and interest early on from well rated recruits. I bet the majority stick and we have even bigger names to come.
