• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Troy (Bearsradio), I feel bad for you...

because we as fans can leave the games early, shut off the radio, turn off the TV and avoid watching this team play. You can't! You have to suffer through the misery the ENTIRE game. I don't however feel bad for you for having to travel to such nice places as Hawaii, Flagstaff or SLO Cali. Those are some great places! I sort of thought of those Major League movies where Bob Eucker is drinking in the radio booth. I think you should start doing that, you and Ott. It will help get rid of the pain! If you and Ott start sluring over the broadcast it might lighten things up!
I think everyone should call am1310 and demand they give Chris Ott and Troy Coverdale a huge raise for having to sit through the most pathetic football this program has EVER played. You two deserve it!

P.S. - Sorry to have to pile on the negativity but I'm in a an ornery mood today.

That's where a little perspective helps...I just think of what some former voices at Kansas State went through, including one of my early mentors. Poor Mitch has that disaster that is the Chiefs now to call. The juco and NAIA teams I covered didn't have much in the win column, so I'm just using my experience to build on...

And, yes, I enjoy the road trips, save for having too little time to fully enjoy the cities we visit.

Now, (in my best Harry Carry) check out the kid in the sombrero...

That is a great point Beardown. I have not had to sit through an entire game yet. I left CSC at halftime and have turned off every other broadcast so far this year. Bears Radio mayber you could put on a seminar for us on how to stay positive and not just go absolutely ape over what you are watching. That is indeed a talent.
