Turnover chant

Since politics aren't allowed on this forum and WILDCAT is admitting he is Rebpublican in his new signature...shall we ban him from this forum? I am after all the admin.

Let us have a vote...
 
Yes Im a Republican, Im also a Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glen Beck fan, but thats just the way I grew up, my family is conservative, and hearing about all the crap that going on has got my dander up.

I have done nothing but talk about Weber aside from my little hate Stew Morril Rant topic.

Personaly I think I have been a good Weber State Wildcat supporter, I have gone to every home game football and basketball for 10 years, and I thought that would even me out, but I guess not. Vote me out if you wish, but Im not changing the way I am.

Yes Im a Republican, but Im also a very Strong Wildcat supporter, and if thats not good enough, then I will wait for your vote, if you vote me off, than I will respect your wishes and leave.

The board would be lame without WILDCAT... He has to stay, even though politically I worry about him (j/k)... Oh by the way, Wildfan, congrats with the Bears beating Juan Diego...even though our recruit did poorly (0-7 first half).
 
I’ll probably take some heat for this, but here goes: Although I agree the "You Suck!" part of the chant is mild compared to other places (I was in Missoula for the playoff game in December), but if it were modified just a bit, I think that it would have a similar affect. What about "Turnover, Turnover, Turnover - Good Job!" (it sounds very similar in cadence). This would be a sarcastic and somewhat demeaning response to the opposing teams handling of the ball, without the offensive (to some) language. And just because other places are worse, is no reason to follow in their path even if we are still behind the times, as eventually we will catch up to where they are now.
 
I don't know if I have much room to talk because I haven't gone to any Basketball games this season. Though I have followed the games on bigskytv.org. If I were to go to the games I wouldn't have a problem with the chant even if I brought my kids along to the game. In fact maybe we should spice it up a bit like "Turnover, Turnover, Turnover, you suck you wankors"

Never bring up politics in a sports forum. If you wish to demonstrate your ability to unthink, do it elsewhere.
